I’m Priscilla Van Der Weele-Smith, a Kansas City-based writer, editor, and artist specializing in cut-paper collage.

I graduated from Kansas State University with a Master of Arts in English in their Children’s Literature track.

By day, I’m a Senior Academic Designer for McGraw Hill. By night, I explore bookstores and antique stores for ephemera and unusual turns of phrase to include in my collages, stories, and poems.

I live in the Northland with my husband, Brandon Smith, and our cat.
